Price: Kaab ghazal (filled with almond paste) is approximately 150 MAD per kilogram (15 dollars/kg), with potential variations up to 200 MAD based on the vendor. Peanut-filled Kaab ghazal is around 100 MAD per kilogram (10 dollars/kg).
2. Briwa
Briwa is one of the most expensive desserts for Ramadan due to its dependence on almonds. It also consists of almond paste, takes the shape of a triangle, and is so crunchy.
Price: approximately 150 MAD to 170 MAD per kilogram (15-17 dollars/kg) for Briwa filled with almond paste, and around 100 MAD (10 dollars/kg) for peanut-filled Briwa.
3. Chebbakia
Chebbakia is a popular Moroccan dessert, especially made during Ramadan. It’s prepared by mixing flour and yeast, shaping the dough into circles, and frying it until golden. Then, Dipped in honey. It is a crucial element to be served for Iftar during Ramadan (breaking of the fast).
Price: one kg of Chebbakia costs from 120 MAD to 150 (12-15 dollars)
4. Ghoriba
Is a super soft Moroccan dessert, with a beautiful crackly appearance that melts in the mouth easily. I highly recommend it for almonds lovers.
Price: almond paste 130 MAD/kg (13 dollars/kg)

5. Sello/Aslilo/Sfuf
Is a famous Moroccan dessert that Moroccans prepare on major occasions such as Ramadan, and weddings. Also, it mainly consists of a texture of toasted flour, almonds, sesame honey, and butter. You’d better eat it with tea because it’s a bit difficult to swallow.
Price: one kg of Sellou costs between 180 MAD-200 MAD (18-20 dollars)
