Many travelers, so am I, choose to visit Morocco and stay in affordable cities, as it helps them save money and experience life like the locals. Honestly, I love cheap cities in Morocco as they tend to be smaller, rich in history, and offer more enjoyable experiences at a lower cost compared to expensive cities.
Here in Morocco, small cities are more enjoyable, affordable with natural views, old customs, genuine kindness, slower pace of life, historic charm, calm atmosphere, and friendly neighbors.
These things still exist. I’ve been to almost every small city in Morocco, and I can tell they take me back in time, which is so refreshing for the soul. Plus, everything is affordable. Anyone can buy what they need, live wherever they want, and still enjoy the charm of their city.

The quickest way to get from Tetouan to Asilah is by taxi, which costs around MAD 500 – MAD 650 (approximately $50 – $65).

Meknes
